First party is when you come directly to our site by typing in our URL and third party is where you access our site through another company or website. For example if you click on a link from Facebook. They will then add their own cookie.

Analytics and optimisation cookies

We use Google Analytics software (Universal Analytics) to collect information about how you use our website.

_ga - 2 years - Used to distinguish users.
_gid - 24 hours - Used to distinguish users.
_dc_gtm - 1 minute - Used to manage the rate at which pages are requested.
_utma - 24 months - Used to distinguish users and sessions.
_utmb - 30 mins from set/update - Used to determine new sessions/visits.
_utmz - 6 months from set/update - Stores the traffic source or campaign that explains how the user reached your site. 
_gac_<property-id> - 90 days - Contains campaign related information for the user.

Advertising and Retargeting cookies

Facebook -  _fbp - This cookie is used to provide you with more relevant advertising across Facebook.
Microsoft Advertising atdmt - 2 years - This cookie is used to provide you with more relevant advertising across websites.

You can opt out of targeted advertising from Microsoft Advertising across all websites.

We use Google AdWords Remarketing to advertise trigger across the Internet. AdWords remarketing will display relevant ads tailored to you based on what parts of the Brewgooder website you have viewed by placing a cookie on your machine.

This cookie does not in any way identify you or give access to your computer. The cookie is used to say “This person visited this page, so show them ads relating to that page.” Google AdWords Remarketing allows us to tailor our marketing to better suit your needs and only display ads that are relevant to you.”

You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Preferences page, and if you want to you can opt out of interest-based advertising entirely by cookie settings or permanently using a browser plugin.
