Gathering Success Stories: Denmark

If you follow us closely enough to read these blogs, then the Global Gathering campaign needs no introduction - we got 250 amazing breweries across the world to each brew a unique beer and launch them simultaneously over World Water Day weekend in March. Except that a lot of them didn’t launch as planned, because of Covid-19.

While the campaign didn’t go to plan, it has been incredible to watch the steady roll-out of Gathering beers over the last few months, as the breweries release their beers later than planned.

Today we celebrate the successes of breweries in Denmark, who despite the challenging times, managed to release some incredible beers.

Denmark Global Gathering Beers

Four phenomenal Danish brewers - Dry and Bitter Brewing, BRAW, Flying Couch and Gamma Brewing Co – were able to release beers in support of the Global Gathering campaign. Each of the breweries  really nailed the brief of the label design, using the theme of water and the Brewgooder colours to make their beer cans come to life. Check them out below!

Dry and Bitter Brewing – C-Beams. 6% Kettle Sour with Lychee, Apricot and Passion fruit

Dry and bitter gathering beer

Watch C-Beams glitter in the dark as this fruit blast lights up your day. A cocktail of Vitamin C rich fruits on top of a tart beer leads you to sparkling dreams of the future. This tart, fruity number was a real hit with the Brewgooder team who managed to get their hands on it!

Gamma Brewing Co – Opalescent. 6% Oatmeal Stout

 Gamma Gathering Brew

Brewed with Golden Promise, Oat Malt, Rolled Oats, Chocolate Malt, Carafa, CaraAroma and CaraMunich malts, this stout pours jet black with a super velvety mouthfeel. As well as this delicious beer, we have to say we're also big fans of Gamma's glassware, which you can check out on their Insta!

Flying Couch – Water Witty. 6% New England IPA

Flying Couch Gathering Beer

This juicy NEIPA from Flying Couch uses Ekuanot, Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo and Columbus hops. We also appreciate a pun beer name, so double points!

BRAW – Waterworld. 6.2% Hazy IPA

Braw Gathering Beer Waterworld

Another juicy can of delight is BRAW's New England IPA, this time coming in at 6.2%. We adore the design of this can just as much as the liquid inside it!

Not only did these breweries release amazing beers, but they teamed up to create a bundle of all four which was available from their webstores!

Denmark Charity Beer Bundle

We loved this display of unity between the brewers, alongside their commitment to our project.

Community is exactly what the Gathering is about, and we are honoured that such esteemed breweries came together to support us. A massive thank you to all of you!
