Brewed in Solidarity with Taybeh Brewing Co.

‘Sun & Stone’ lager is a collaboration between Brewgooder & Taybeh Brewing Co., Palestine’s pioneering microbrewery, facing challenges no brewery should.

Inspired by the region’s warm sun and rugged limestone hills, this beer represents resilience, compassion and craft.

Proceeds from this beer support Taybeh Brewing Co. and its community in the West Bank. A significant contribution was also made to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), a charity that supports conflict-affected communities across the Middle East, including the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Together in Solidarity

Last year, we came across the story of Taybeh Brewing Co., a microbrewery based in the West Bank of Palestine. Despite all the challenges of operating under Israeli occupation, Taybeh has been brewing with pride and resilience since 1994, and like us, has been using beer as a force for good within its local area and beyond.

We see this as an opportunity not just to stand by a brewery we admire, but also to share a perspective on Palestine that is not often seen, while helping to support humanitarian aid in Gaza and elsewhere, where the suffering is unimaginably unjust.

In Taybeh, a Palestinian village in the occupied West Bank, daily life is marked by water shortages, checkpoint delays, and the constant threat of settler violence. The brewery, run by Madees Khoury, the only female brewmaster in the Middle East, faces soaring costs, export restrictions, and escalating settler attacks that have turned a once-vibrant community into a place of anarchy. They fear that one day soon the brewery will be taken from them.

Despite living under extreme pressure, they continue to create, employ, and keep hope alive. Their story isn’t just about beer; it’s about defiance, dignity, and the simple act of choosing to stay rooted in their homeland.

Standing with Gaza

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) brings together leading UK charities to get life-saving aid to where it’s needed most. In Gaza, their member charities and local partners are working against impossible odds to provide medical care, clean water and cash support for families trying to survive soaring food prices. Even with shortages of food, fuel and medicine, they continue to find ways to keep people alive and hold onto hope.

Every beer sold makes a difference - supporting Taybeh's local community in the occupied West Bank and funding a significant donation to the DEC (registered charity no. 1062638). Proceeds from Sun & Stone continue to support Taybeh and its community.

Sun & Stone Lager is still available in our online shop while stocks last.

We know that brewing a beer is only a small act in the face of unimaginable suffering, but we believe it can be a tool for positive change with your help. So, from all of us at Brewgooder and Taybeh Brewing Co., thank you for standing with us in solidarity.
