Brewgooder Co-Founder On New Years Honours List

4 January

We were greeted with some really great news just before New Year, our co-founder Josh Littlejohn was named on the New Years Honours List.

Josh has received an MBE for his service to social enterprise and entrepreneurship in Scotland. As many of you know this comes after years of dedicated work through the sandwich shop Social Bite, which employs and feeds homeless people across Scotland and The Scottish Business Awards, a charitable dinner for the Scottish business community. And now of course Brewgooder...

In an interview with the Independent Josh said, "I would like to dedicate it to the hundreds of homeless people Social Bite works with in Scotland who are marginalised from society and have no stake in the economic system.

"I'm relatively young but I hope to dedicate the rest of my working life to helping people who have been excluded from the system.

"By working alongside the amazing Social Bite team — and other charities — I hope I can play my part in eradicating homelessness from Scotland and spread the social enterprise business model further afield."

So cheers to Josh and hope you've all had a great start to 2017.

Team Brewgooder.
